天能致命于人，决定人的命数。“天命”说早在殷周时期已流行大邪主 。用《易经》的话来说，叫做“乾道变化，各正性命。”对于这里的命，后人注释道：“命者，人所禀受，若贵贱夭寿之属也。”在古人的思想观念中，人们的富贵贫贱、吉凶祸福以及死生寿夭、穷通得失，乃至科场中举、货殖营利，无一不取决于冥冥之中，非人类自身所能把握的一种力量，即命运是也。
孔子弟子子夏说：“死生有命，富贵在天”(《论语·颜渊》)。
孔子早年风尘仆仆，奔走列国，到处推销自己的政治主张，很想干一番轰轰烈烈的事业。当他碰了一鼻子灰以后，才深深地省悟到，命运之神竟是如此这般的厉害，然而此时他已是个年近五十岁的人了。“五十而知天命”，就是他从不知命到知命这一思想转化过程的最好说明张惠雅。至此在他的理论中便有了“死生有命，富贵在天”，“不知命，无以为君子”，“君子属易以俟命，小人行险以侥幸”的思想格洛米 。
“乐天知命松江茸城论坛 ，故不忧。”并非是消极等待安于现状而是通过学习去了解自己是什么人能够做什么。“顺天道之常数，知性命之始终，任自然之理，故不忧也。
知命有知道生命的道理，生命的真谛，乃至生命的价值的意思。知道了宇宙的法则与生命的含义，自然没有什么可忧虑的了。可见乐天知命是一种大修养、大境界，不可一味当做悲观地顺从命运安排。中国古老文化对于人生最高修养的原则就可以浓缩为乐天知命的精髓。谢谢欣赏启坤文化
